Charlotte has been working in the sustainability sector for over 25 years. She began her career in the Pollution Control section of the Environment Agency, before joining a packaging waste compliance scheme advising on the Packaging Waste Regulations and waste management. She then moved to a large CSR consultancy as Head of Environmental Communications, working with a variety of organisations to help embed CR and sustainability by engaging with employees and stakeholders. Since co-founding Corporate Balance, Charlotte has worked with PE firms and their portfolio companies providing ESG assessments and expertise across a variety of sectors.
She has a BSc and MSc in Environmental Science and is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Nigel has been working in the CR and Sustainability sector for nearly 25 years; both in-house and as an advisory consultant for KPMG, where he headed-up their Sustainability Practice. He has experience across all sectors, with specialisms in the private equity, retail and logistics sectors, having worked previously as Director of Corporate Responsibility for the British Retail Consortium, Sustainability Manager at Royal Mail. and Group Leaf Sustainability Manager at Imperial Tobacco.
He currently divides his time between Corporate Balance and TDR Capital, where he is ESG and Sustainability Manager.
In his spare time he coaches his son's grassroots football team and is Chair of Governor's at his children's school.
